I´ve just bought a group of small L270, and is in general in favour of the smaller Hypancistrus species, but I am concerned with problems with crossbreeding, I was thinking of buying a group of L46 or L260, but if there is a chance that they could, or history that they can crossbreed, I would consider alternatives.
If L46 and L260 is a "No can do" what would work instead ?
The tank is a 308 L, 220x40x35 in cm (LBH) with a wery strong current

Hi!
Why not instead of putting another species of Hypancistrus and risking crossbreeding, adding a Peckoltia sp such as for exemple , that could make a very nice alternativ.
Also suitable should be species of the Panaque dentex species group... such as
Cheers
