Accordingly to Ulrich Glaser the males have a longer head and a more thiner caudal fin, the female the head is more shorter in size and the cauda fin is more thicker

the best way is to put them side ways in the photo

Hi!

Is it a newly bought fish?
If yes it is usually tough to say as due to the stress they loose basically all secondary sexual dimorphism...

How big is it?

if around 7-8cm and you have it for a long time several months, it looks like a female...
