Just a short note to say hi to all planetcatfish people. I will be posting a couple pleco pics for ID'ingif I can ever figure this dang digital camera out. Anyone use a Fuji FinePix S3000 for aquarium photos? Well bye for now. This stupid camera has to work through glass somehow. Doug

Howdy and welcome to the site.

Just make sure that you have as little external ambient light as possible and avoid light reflected off objects (wear dark clothes if you must) when you taking pictures of the fish in your tank.

You need a camera with manual focus, most auto focaus cameras focus on the front glass. If you can`t get hold of a manual focus camera take your pictures when he is claose to the front of the tank

Hope this helps
