hello, im new to the forum, but not to fish.
anyways, i came here because of well the great knowledge of catfish here.
this is a idea i have had for a while now,i have a 55 that i would like to have all catfish. i always wanted a salmontail or redtail catfish, but well i don't have the room(not that many ppl do). so this is my compramise for now. and i got this 55 that soon will be empty so seemed like a good time to do it. anyways
this is more or less what im looking for.
--larger type catfish(over 6 inch)
--either 1 single large catfish(8 inch or bigger) or a pair or trio
--carnivore or omnivore(prefer pure carnivore:D )
--not shy, will be visible often
--won't outgrow a 55.
--not real expensive or rare
--prefer a type with whiskers(not mandatory)
--and if at all possable a type(if more than one) is atleast possable to breed in a home aquarium(not mandatory)
o yeah it dosen't have to be south american, i just put it here.
thanks alot for any help
