Can I mix plecos, corydoras & non predatory big cats: M. irwini, Pseudodoras niger?

Hello deuce,
As long as they are similar size, there should be no problem. You mention a couple of doradids that could easily try to eat smaller corys, and that's an obvious conflict.
I have to admit, I saw your username, and expected to find a post regarding sea snails or "chinese tail bar lionfish"

Yes, the sea snails from the bottom of the tank... ;)
Couldn't help myself. For the fish it probably wouldn't have to be something the same size, just anything over like 6 or 8 inches would probably be fine, I'd think. But my niger's only about 8 inches at the moment, so I'm only guessing.
