Will most woods work for plecs?

Post by jj »

I know alot of woods are deadly but I was wondering if specifically sand blasted grapevive would be okay. Ive tried it before but it got really fuzzy and turned the water really dark. Any info would be appreciated

Not grape. Apart from fungusing easily (the fuzzy stuff), the wood probably contains too much saponins (the dark stuff).
