Zebra loach behavior

I have a quartet of zebra loaches in my 29 gallon tank with some farlowellas, cories, and peacock gobies. Recently I lost a corydoras elegans, and I'm wondering if the loaches may have had something to do with it. The loaches appear peaceful, but there are times when I find them almost chasing the gobies and trying to mouth parts of the farlowella tails.

Is this normal zebra loach behavior? Should I relocate them to a new home? Are they a threat to my other fish?

afaik, they aren't a threat, however they have been known as fin nippers. I have never had the problem with my 4. Granted, they are the only bottom fish in the 30 gallon.

The zebras are still bothering the cories....and the gobies. :P I don't think the loaches mean to -snack- on anyone, but these guys are only half grown, and I don't like the idea of coming home to find my beloved elegant cories chewed up.

Is a 29 gallon tank just not big enough for 4 zebra loaches with cories? I'm thinking I may have to get rid of the loaches, which is a shame....but the only other tank they could go in would be my 20 long, and my male BN would NOT like them.....!
