it does look a bit like a nigrita but its body is very dark with black spots only just visible but the fins are the same

This depends on how big the synos are now and how fast the hybrid pim would grow. I wouldn't keep them together at any rate.

at 6-8" that decorus isn't fully grown at all, since it grows to 12"when properly housed.
Same for the Angelicus, although these often take forever to reach that size and more often stuck at 8-10"
I wouldn't combine those, though; decorus is a very peaceful syno, and it needs more decorus to be happy. angelicus is a territorial bugger, often chasing and nipping other syno's.
the nigrita (if it is one) can reach 8-9" as well*
*confusing fish. IMO nigrita is still a "wastebasket-genus", with all kinds of brownish syno's in it.
There's a bleak one with few vague spots; that one often stays 5"or so, and is very peaceful;.
Then there's a big one, that looks a LOT like nigriventris when small. it hasn't got black spots, just brown spots on a lighter brown color, but many, many spots!
that one isn't as peaceful but reaches 8-9"or so.....
taking a guess any one?
