Aggression levels in these L numbers?

I was hoping to here of aggresion levels in L066,L134 nd LDA19 towards their own species.After purchasing quite a few juvenile L114s I've decided to keep less aggressive (stressful ) species.Any direction from anybody would be appreciated .

hi there,

I have a group of 4 L066 in a 22 gallon tank, they are being moved eventually, but they have been there for a good few months and to date there has been no serious aggression problems.

Alittle chasing at feeding time, but no damage has ever resulted , its just a quick chase and then back to feeding

Could you please tell me of sex ratios and wether the fish are juvenile or adults?

Hi!

If you are planning to keep L114 you better be a little careful what numbers you keep and to make you tank filled with roots, caves and things that can be turned into territories. I dont know the size of your tank but it shouldnt be less than about 125 gallons or 500 liters. I have L25 and they where the most agressive plecos I have seen in a tank so far, so L114 will probably pose likewise at mature age 15-18 cm, you could be lucky that they will be more friendly to the other species, due to the less competitive species. Fights are normally worst inspecies. So keep that in mind

L134 seem to be a fairly sociable species... I have a group in a 90 gallon with a dozen other species of plecos and haven't had any of them make problems either. no fighting except with the panaque, and he bothers everyone in the tank.

Hi In regards to the L114s there all in seperate tanks now there only about 6 cm long so I've got a fair bit of time before I attempt to spawn them.I've got a 3000L vessel for them when I'm going to have a crack at them but allowing for an increase in aggression I doubt it's still not going to be stressful .How are your L25 males with the females?

They are fine thanks, being nocturnal and all it isÂ´nt so much I get to see of their behaivour, but they seem to be somewhat more active. Thats a nice collection of specie you have there in Austalia. I thought it was very difficult to get species like that in Aussie?

Hi Dr Scarlet,
Not so much hard to get if you are patient as expensive.Just means you have to breed 20 to 200 other fish to buy one catfish .
