If memory serves me correctly the Cat-eLog describes it as not for the aquarium, besides which I'd be worried about kitty with a three foot cat heheh

Hmm,Ive Read Its Not A Aquarium Fish Really.
But Even If I Had A Pond I Would Need To Put It Inside For Winter..Cause Even Down South We Get Some Very Cold Winter Days.Plus,I Would Rather Just Purchase A Huge Aquarium For It Anyway..So I Could Keep It Inside All The Time And It Could Have The Tank All To Itself.

A cold winter day is hardly anything that would bother a channel cat. Don't forget that they live up here naturally in Michigan too... Not to mention a 125g tank is hardly huge, you'd need something to the effect of several thousand gallons of water to keep them comfortable.
So leave these guys outdoors & save good tank space for fish that belong in em!

I'd say more like a 10,000 gallon aquarium.I don't even think they make aquariums that big.

Hey Thelonious its me Sushoomee. I just wanted to say hi since I know you from Kokos Goldfish World. LOL I like seeing my friends on other sights. I got two new channel cats I'm so happy. I guess after reading this I'll have to buy the kids a swimming pool one day. See you at Kokos.
