Whats the diff between Ompok pabda and Ompok malabricus?
I checked the id in Ranjit Daniels's Fishes of peninsular India and the description seems to match.
These fishes were photographed at SIA's Shop in Chennai. Though my interest is mainly in cichlids, i have a keen interest in Indian native fishes so will try n keep posting whenever a new variety comes up.
You will find some more pics of Indian fishes here: http://www.indianaquariumhobbyist.com/community/

I think Heok Hee has answered your question about the difference between O. pabda X O. malabaricus.
I thought as much, SIA regularly gets these fish from Kolkata, and his suppliers source their fish from me. Fish such as O.pabda; Chaca; Hara hara & H jerdoni among others.
