Hi!

Cool but strange pictures...
What is the story behind your fish or its remains I shall say...
Cheers

this fish i had for several years but sadely one day it died in a fishtank crash, since this fish is so "special" i figured out that i should keep it in one way or the other so i made a copy of it and then got some bugs to clean it out.

whos freeked?

Post by blackmystus »

hi, just thought that i would put on a message here to say that you are not the only one who likes to keep their fish after they have died. i had some huge amblydoras hancocks and i kept them after death and have them somewhere about the house in a box. i think that it is extremely interesting, and to see the internal bone structure of a fish right in front of you is amazing. so, dont be put off by any dead fish, if they haven't been completely amaciated, then boil the bones and bleach them, or whatever is best, and then you can have a fishy skeleton.

who cares if people freek, i dont.
im interested in learning not participating. ive seen worse things than a slightly decomposed fish before!
so, thankyou mallemalle for the pics, sorry about the loss, but majorly informative.

Cheers,

BlackMystus

ps: mallemalle- may i have the photo for my site and credit it to...................?
