Hi,
pls help me sex my gibby...
can you guys tell if this is a male or female?
how do you tell??
any picture of female and male difference?

hi,
I believe sexing gibbies is nearly as hard as sexing commons. you need large specimens and several of them to tell the difference. since my commons are now over 13" i can tell they are different sexes but i don't know which is which

Gibby (and often common) males have a thicker, stumpier umm, whatstheword, 'thing' on their bellies and its much more visible....females have a thinner one that lays more flat against the belly.
