Hey all,

I just took this video and thought some of you here might be interested in watching it. It's my Synodontis eupterus coming out and eating bloodworms. About 10 mbs, and one minute long.

Over the past few months that fish has experienced a lot of growth, and suddenly it feels secure coming out during the day and eating everything in sight. :D

He looks very nice! :D

Is he the only Syno in your tank?

Thanks! He was just a little guy when I picked him up in December, but he's grown a lot since then. This is actually only the second time I've ever seen him eat, so I thought it was kinda cool.

There's also an S. angelicus in the tank, but otherwise no other synos.

Can anyone please tell me the nature of eupterus'? I know that almost all syno are aggressive, but compared to others, how do the eupterus compare?

Wow - great video and a very nice fish. That's a dorsal fin!

Also, it took me a while to figure out that thet huge rock the eupterus is swimming around under at first is actually a pleco

What other fish did I see in the video - albino kuhli loach and a guppy?

That's a nice fish!
I've got 5 of those little monsters myself. 2 months ago 4 of them were about 2", and the're about 5" know.
The other one is an adult male, about 8".
Does anyone know how to breed this fantastic species?
