Albino cory (not the real thing so therefore it's in here)

While looking for an elusive Liobagrus figurine (as described in this post) here in Singapore, I came across this albino cory figurine for the equivalent of US$2.

I bought one for myself, but there may have been at least two more at the store I bought it from.
Anyone interested? Can't guarantee I'll be able to get one (subject to availability of free time), but I can try.

This link isn't recognised by Planet Catfish but works when typed into the browser. You might be able to get the catfish egg from them.

Well, not catfish egg, but rabbit egg with a catfish figurine in it. Or whatever.

HH,
We need to start to get you thinking "BIG PICTURE" and capitalist! :D

Your question should have read, "If I can get a case or two of these, who wants one for $10?"

In that case, you could count me in, for $2, you can count me in for a case or two!

Anybondy want to buy an albino corydoras statue for $10!

Wow. I didn't expect that many responses (on- and off-forum). I will try and get as many as possible to fulfill as many requests, and then I will donate the last one to the silent auction for the Catfish Convention in October.
For any one who didn't get one, it's an incentive for you to attend the convention and do something for charity.

I only managed to get two more, so Dave Rinaldo gets one (because he was the first to ask), and the other will be put up for silent auction at the Catfish Convention.

how big is that. Is it like a yowie* thing.

*a yowie thing is basically a choclate that came out in Australia several years ago. they have a choclate egg with toy inside. teh cory up there looked a bit like one. The yowie toys are able to be decostructed into little plastic bits. Im not sure but that could be one.

It's like a yowie, only of a much higher quality in terms of realism and attention to detail.

Does anyone know where I'd be able to find them in California, specifically the Bay Area?

They look pretty cool, but I still don't quite understand what they are. They are chocolate eggs with little animal figurines in them, right?

Yes, although the place I got them from were selling only the figurines (therefore taking all the guesswork out).

aww, you didnt get the chocolate. Cadbury choclate is the best choclate :P

anyway, did they have and eel tail catfish there Silurus

Nope, no eel-tail cats. The only ones that ChocoQ make are Silurus lithophilus, Liobagrus emarginatus, and the corys.
We're stuck with the (not-so-good) Yowie version for eel-tailed cats.
