Cory for Chocolate cichlids Biotope ?

I need Corys that share habitat with Chocolate cichlids(Hypselecara Temporalis),

But If none exsist within their exact biotope then one thats close and prefers warmer temps will be fine.

Not being c*****d man if you tell me the location of Hypselecara Temporalis I may be able to help with the nearest Cory species from that area.

Chocolate Cichlids are found in Brazil in warm waters 25-28C Although they are not particularly aggressive for cichlids they do grow quite large, at least 12 inches in length. I do not think Corys would be a good tank mate, especially if the Cichilds start to spawn. Iif you really want to try C. sterbai can take the heat.

While large they arent really that Predatory, feeding on mostly insects(Aquatic and Terrestrial).
I have kept them with fish small enough for them to eat and they dont even try, And the only agression I have ever observed is towards eachother.
I doubt they would want the corys even if they were Piscivores, I had a Large Crencichla Vitatta that ate everything in its tank including a 6" Shovelnose(At the time was the same size as the C. Vitatta) and never tried to down the corys.

I will however keep a close eye just incase, I have other placement for them if any problems happen to arise.
