Banjo Catfish: What kind of Sandy Substrate?

I currently have some Banjo Catfish on order and I want to know what type of sandy substrate I should get to put into my tank. I want the Banjo to be able to burrow into the sand, but I don't want the sand to be getting sucked into the intake of my power filter tube. I'd also like a dark color sand, maybe black. Does anyone have any suggestions of what kind of sand (name and the company that makes it) I should get? If you can provide links to pictures and maybe even places where I can buy it it would be great.
