RIT Dye for BN cave

RIT Dye for BN cave

I just made a few pvc caves for my BN plecs should i dye them black with RIT dye or leave them white?

play safe just leave them plain white.

I smeared sealer on mine then applied new gravel that matched the tank. Then buried them at an angle and mounded more gravel along side of them. Did it for my plecos, but the Cories use them more. The plecos hang out in a slate pile.

If you try it I found doing small patches at a time, then pushing the stones together covers almost all of the white PVC. Just rolling the tube in the gravel gave poor coverage.

Black silicone then rolling them in sand has a similar effect that I was kind of fond of. You can also tie 3 or 4 together, then stack rocks around them, as a base for structures. The fish really like them that way for some reason.
