A while ago I had a pleco which was sold to me as an L75, (sadly no longer with us ) see link

and recently I acquired another plec also ordered in as an L75,

Having looked through the Cat-elog the first 'L75' looks more like a L124, and the second 'L75' does look like the correct L75, but with quite blurry spots. I'm hoping the one I bought recently is the real thing, as I also got one for a mate of mine, who.... bear with me..... in the last couple of days has bought another plec, sold as (guess what) an L75, which now I've seen it, is almost identical to the first picture (L124) There seems to be great deal of confusion with fish retailers/exporters as to what exactly IS an L75. It seems you never really know what your getting till it turns up! Sadly the L75 seems to be a more shy plec, spending more time hiding away than the L124(?) I used to have and my mate's one also.
If anyone can correct me if I'm wrong/shed any light on the true ID of these plecs I would be grateful!
Who is the real L75?
