Is this an L080 Peckoltia ?

Post by turbokev »

I couldn't resist this little fellow today when I was at the LFS.. $5.00 dollar sale for small Plecos.. they had some bristlenoses and some commons, but just one of these. I was assured that he would only grow to 4" or so so I took him home. (Even if he gets bigger, I'll move things around so he has a home in one of my tanks) Right now, he seems so tiny..about 1.25 inches. He's not shy though, he's swimming all over the place :)

What do you think?

Definately not L080 anyway, chances are it's a young .
Of course that's assuming is has Panaque teeth, like these..

Yes, definitely one of the complex species.
