can a juvinile get pregn.

hi all, I have two Columbian shark catfish, they I've had them for aprox.3 1/2 month and are about 3 inches long... my question is a very simple one. One of the fishes the light colored one (Ariel) has gotten a pretty fat belly, bigger then her buddy (Adrien) I'm hoping that she ate too much, but could it be posible for them to get pregos when they are still juvinile? I know they live in brackish water when they get bigger and that they lay eggs but. are they too young to lay eggs?
from what ive read columbian sharks dont become mature enough till there at least 11inches long or so. how long has it had a fat belly for?
