I just bought my first pleco last week, a gold nugget, and we love her. My four-year-old named her Goldy.
I'd love to try another pleco. We have a 20 gallon aquarium with 6 zebra danios, 7 neon tetras, 4 platies, and 2 dwarf gouramis. I change the water several times each month. We had albino cory cats and CAE before but decided to trade them to the lfs for Goldy because the CAE were terrorizing my gouramis.
I've been reading all the posts about BN and GN plecos, but I can't find any posts about the two being compatible in the same aquarium. I have a planted tank with two caves and a piece of driftwood. I'm more interested in the peacefulness and health of the plecos.
Would the BN and GN get along OK or should I just keep Goldy by herself?
