Hi

I have not kept p.apithanos, but have kept p.lateceps and am keeping Planiloricaria cryptodon which are very similar.

The info in the CatE-log as it has most of it, look under apithanos and p.laticeps.

The important stuff is that they eat meaty foods, so bloodworm, shrimp, sinking pellets, flakes are good.

I had to be careful with mine to make sure they get enough to eat so I keep very slow eating fish with them, and usually try and keep them alone, especially to start with.

There was a thread the other day explaining how to sex them.... http://www.forum.planetcatfish.com/view ... highlight=

Good luck with them... would like to see pictures of yours and hear what you get them to eat.. and if you spawn them let us know how you do it...
Thanks
Too Many Tanks... Too Many fish... not enough time!!!
