More Questions About SunCats..

Hi All,

Thank you everyone who has guided me with their great responses about my fish, and especially my wife getting her hand bitten, LOL. New question... As time is going on, almost 5 weeks now, the fish are of course getting bigger. Is it normal for them to hide constantly? I have two small "shipwreck" pieces that are small. For some reason they seem to prefer to huddle inside these. I mean, it's really tight for space in there. Is this normal? Also, they seem to enjoy hanging out in bizzare positions, like upside down and things like that. They only come out at night or when the lights are off, so my best time to see them is usually in the middle of the night.

Your sun cats, like all catfish, are nocturnal and will hide during the day. Many catfish feel most comfortable being in actual physical contact when hiding and will wedge themselves in a tight a space as they can.

Definitely normal. Mine doesn't come out until I open the lid! :?
