I have a 10Gallon tank, one pleco, two goldfish, and three white skirt tetras.
Also, I have tiny fry which are approx. 2 days old. I suspect they are Pleco fry.
I have had the other fish for more than a year anf have never seen any eggs.
I had this pleco for a week, and now eggs.

My Egg Stages
Initial the eggs are white and transparent.
Then they became fluffy, like tiny cotton balls.
In the final stage they were even more flufflier, now with a very noticable spiky fluff.
Then babies.

The fry seem to cling to plants and glass like a pleco would.

Any suggestion as to the identity of my fry would be immensely appreciated.

If you have only one pleco, it would be impossible for the fry to be plecos.

Goldfish fry stick to the wall too...

Fluff on eggs would be fungus; the eggs in that case would have died.

I agree you can't get virgin birth from a pleco.

Goldfish fry are dark brown and very thin. They had on the side of the tank or plants. The eggs are scattered everywhere. The bad eggs will fungus. They will not color up until they are two months old or so.

If you have only one pl*co, it would be impossible for the fry to be pl*cos.
It could be a miracle...Immaculate conception in fish

Though, I also think it's goldfish, since they're easier to breed. Tetras can, but harder to breed, especially for a regular hobbyist.
