the walfer that i bought is bigger than the cory's mouth.
can i just throw in the whole piece?
do they eat bit by bit?

The wafer will eventually soften and break up, and the corys will be able to eat it in this state. You can break the wafer into smaller pieces if you want to hasten this process.
