What will eat this algea??

What will eat this algea??

This whitish stringy/fuzzy algea has started forming on my driftwood.. My L333s are not interested in it at all.. What can I put in the tank that will eat this stuff???

Some sort of catfsih? a shrimp?

It's not algae...it's fungus.

Thanks, that has some good information..

Since there is no way, no how I can get this driftwood out of the tank (it was a 45 minute chinese puzzle to get it in there thanks to a small opening on my acrylic tank) I think I'll look for a bristlenose. He'll get along with my L333s, yes?

Makes no sense....

A bristlenose won't touch it either.

you just have to switch back to "manual override"aka you have to remove it by yourself, bit by bit.

Part of the job, you know. :roll: :wink:
