Can anyone give me some info on this pleco. I have searched but could not find anything in the cat-e-log. My local Petsmart has one, and I wanna pick it up tomorrow.

Any help is appreciated:)

Hmmm....I tried the cat-eLog and didn't find much. Also, google does bring up alot of hits but I can't find info. Alot of the sites are in different languages.

I did find the temp range, pH range, and GH range though.

I just would like to know if it's more of a herbivore or carnivore. Does anyone have one of these guys? I would appreciate any info at all.

Thanks,
Steve:)

Just to keep in mind, I understand they tend to lose their spots as they become adults. Actually, not really lose them, but their spots are actually too small.

I have one peppermint pleco, from experience mine seems to be more of a carnivore but having said that it seems quite reluctant to show itself even when food is about. Algae wafers seem a firm favourite of most of my plecos so I suggest those. It is quite a peaceful plec and co-exists happily with the rest of my pleco family :D
hope this is of some help

I found a pepermint plec here at one of our petsmarts in minneapolis. It only took me a month to convince myself to get him. Bought him yesterday and he seems to be settling in. I'm looking for info also.
