I am certain that this is not Pseudomystus myersi, as this species has confluent adipose and caudal fins.
Probably P. breviceps or something similar. Might even be a member of the P. stenomus group.
I found P. breviceps in Kottelat's book: "known from two specimens caught 75 years ago". The picture of the corpse pretty much matches that.. Is there a more fresh photo of P. breviceps available and/or literature discussing these species/species groups?
I am not fully convinced that the fish is P. breviceps (largely by dint of geography). It's probably something closer to P. stenomus, but the whole group is in a fine mess now.
