Black Lotus driftwood

Hi friends hope everyone is well & the fish are good!

Is this black locust wood good for my l306, l397 & l204 plecos!

I don't know what black locust wood is or if that wood is safe, but that piece looks spectacular.

Very unscientifically, it looks like a keeper to me.

Black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) I'm not familiar with but as it's a deciduous hardwood tree then it's almost certainly safe.

If it were me I'd toss it in an outdoor tub with a couple of goldfish for a few months, aside from the fact this will prove it's safe it will also give it time to get waterlogged and so be a lot easier to work with in a glass tank.

Yes it is fine. I gave some hollow logs to a friend, and they were used, even when they were still floating.
