fish auction

I heard about an auction going on this weekend in the Minneapolis area. I guess they are selling fish and all sorts of fish related supplies. Anyone wanting more info can check out the minnesota aquarium societies page. I'd put in a link but I don't have it offhand.
Minnesota is a cool place in winter. Where else is it -6 fahrenheit, with a walk in ice palace, a fish auction, and an orchid show, and the NHL all Star game all within two weeks. I'm never moving.

I shouldn't have moved.... We've been in Cleveland for 4.5 years now, I still miss Mpls.

too bad I'm stuck in college, here in South Dakota otherwise I'd be at the MAS auction.
I'm down in Albert Lea when I'm home from college, which usually doesn't match up with the MAS meetings.
I agree with the comments on the weather and the hockey
wish I could see the ice palace in person this year too
I do believe we are known for the extreme temp shift. it can hit 100 in the summer and -30 in the winter.
Such a great state

I grew up up north in Fargo/Moorhead, so mpls actually seems a little tropical in comparison.

Ok I made it to auction and brought home some new kids. I ended up with some young mbunas. Some baby tri spot gouramis, plants, plants, plants, and a 20L. We also got some baby angels and bushynoses but they didn't make it. Too much stress. I tried but couldn't save them. It was a lot of fun. Theres a show in a couple months that I think I'll try to get to too.
