Can you get a photo of the belly scutes?

It can be difficult to get pictures in focus when that close up. If you're using a cell phone, many of them have a "pro" setting which allows you to focus manually.

Even so, from your photo it appears your fish has two rows of abdominal scutes, although I wouldn't bet anything on it.

That's what I see. I'm inclined towards , althought there are other traits which are necessary to confirm ID and which are not visible in your photos.

There is a key to the genus here: viewtopic.php?p=324637#p324637

Using that key, I followed these steps, with a little guessing:
  • 1b
  • 5b
  • 23b (guess, based on the fact that I can't make out any hinto of a median abdominal scute at base of pelvic fins)
  • 27b (guess, based on staring at your first pics)
  • 28a (guess, based on caudal fin pigmentation) (F. vittata)
