Hi Karsten,

fish 1 is Auchenipterichthys coracoideus, agree
fish 2 might be Trachelyopterus cf. galeatus
fish 7 made me think of Hassar orestis first
fish 8 is Pterobunocephalus dolichurus, agree
fish 9 is an undescribed Bunocephalus I think
fish 10 is Pterobunocephalus aff. depressus

Super cool. Rather jealous of you wild collectors.

Don't be jealous. Do it yourself. It's easier than it looks (at least to do it in baby steps like I do). Ask me how later, when I'm back in the states.

Hi Daniel,

thanks.
Acanthicus wrote: 13 Aug 2022, 21:51 fish 2 might be Trachelyopterus cf. galeatus
yes, this would also be my guess..
Acanthicus wrote: 13 Aug 2022, 21:51 fish 10 is Pterobunocephalus aff. depressus
yes, this fits much better.
Acanthicus wrote: 13 Aug 2022, 21:51 fish 9 is an undescribed Bunocephalus I think
I just took the best fit of the listed species but I agree Pseudobunocephalus amazonicus seems wrong.

@Eric Have a safe return back :-)

Cheers,
