New pickups; Spatuloricaria sp.
I got these two awesome fish this weekend, so far they're settling in well and I'm trying to figure out the best way to have decor arranged to accomodate them. I believe they are both female Spatuloricaria puganensis, if anyone can confirn this or had a better idea of the species please share.
They're both around 9" SL. Love frozen foods. They wont even look at pellets.

Those are beautiful! (Although I can't help with ID).
Good luck with them!

Apreciate that but that's 3 continents away lol. So I'm guessing they're wild imports from Peru right? I might talk to my local guy and see if it ever pops on his lists.Bristlenose 94 wrote: ↑20 Dec 2021, 00:54Thanks! Not sure where you are located but Global Fish Co in NJ has gotten fish from this genus a few times that i can remember, some very large specimens in the past.
