Would like to know if it's possible to determine the sex from the pictures? The specimen is around 4 inches. How can one tell the difference between male and female? Also is it difficult to breed ? If I introduce the opposite sex in the tank are they likely to fight?
Thanks

They are far too young to be able to tell apart! When they are about double that size, it should be easy...See the attached photo of a pair of mine from a while back. Best view is from above. Wide midsection female, wide head, male.

Thanks Andrew, looks like it is going to be difficult to determine the sex among juveniles.im surprised they get that big.
