chat lectures

I have been convinced to give a chat lecture on how I raise my pleco fry so quickly by an extreme number of questions and some gentle nudging. The topic of the "lecture" was discussed at great detail and I just need a time when most of the members can be present to make the presentation. It will begin with an explaination of what I do, and why, and will hopefully become a question/answer session to follow.

One of the better ideas was to ask if a space could be set up on the site to allow a catalog of past lectures, revised down after the lecture to include the Q/A session into an article format. I think we could get a stronger "community" going like that, and still allow for those of us that are asleep to keep up with the events. Hopefully some of the other "well knowns" on the site will be willing to do the same and devote a few topics to the section. I know that I would be willing to give a couple lectures this year to keep this type of project going.

As I told you when the idea came up in the chat room, I think it's a fantastic idea.

I dunno when would be a good time, but how about something close to midnight here in Europe ? That'll be late afternoon or early evening in the US and Early in the morning in parts of Asia, Australia and New Zealand ?

As we log the chatroom, we should be able to extract the session and publish it reasonably quickly.

Around 11PM GMT?

Great idea. If we can publish the details in advance, I am sure we will get a great number of e-ttendees. I will be there.

Lazy boy. ;-) I will publish the time in GMT, unless someone else wants to do all the conversions. It's easy enough to work out no?

The time for the chat has been set at 10pm, GMT, this Saturday, the 24th. You'll want to check what time that is for you locally, and be ready to log into the chat and enjoy! There will be a lecture, followed by a question and answer session.
