Help! I am a newbie to Corydoras panda keeping & have encountered a bacterial infection. I went to a local petshop in Melbourne, Florida & noted a tank of Corydoras pandas that had their fins damaged by the cichlids that was being kept in the same tank. Against my better judgement, I purchased them to save them from destruction. This leads me to my question:

What medication is safe for use on scaleless fish such as my Corydoras panda?
Please provide a specific manufacturer & medicine name so I can find it.

Thank you,
Panda

Panda,
I am a big fan of BINOX by Jungle Products. It treats gram positive and gram negative bacteria and also has an anti-fungal capabaility.

Micahgee,
Corydoras are catfishes and a catfish, by definition, is a scaleless fish. The possess bony plates known as armor, but not true scales like tetras, barbs, and cichlids.

good point, you being the catfish expert and all...heh but corys have more "bony plate" thingys than say a pictus, which has smooth "skin"...
