I signed up just today,I have an 8 fter with malawis, a4 fter now with young N.Venustus and 3 E blues and my wife has a 2fter with neons and platties, hopefully i'll be getting another 4fter for loricariidaes from Rio Xingu

I have to say I am somewhat confused by your post. How many gallons is a 2 fter, 4fter, and 8 fter? I've got a 3 foot 50 gallon and a 3 foot 30 gallon. When you say Malawis are you talking catfish only, or a malawi cichlid tank with cats?
