L-124 Grouping for Breeding

Looking for people opinions. Fairly new to breeding Plecos (have raised bristlenose and L129) and was wondering what you feel the optimal male to female ratio is? I currently have a 125G with 6 L-124's between 8" and 12" in there with a ratio of 3:3. I was going to start heavy water changes and feeding to condition for breeding but feel like I should remove at least one male. What are your thoughts...

I know L-124 aren't bred commonly but hoping someone has experience with or a similar Peckoltia...

Thanks....

L124 need a dry/rainy season to spawn. Start with the temp in the low 80's and drop to ~77/78 with some larger water changes should do the trick. As far as ratio on male to female that is all guesswork and it depends on the fish themselves....

Thanks, currently conditioning them to get ready to start the trigger. Might remove a male just so there are less males for the dominant male to be worried about instead of the females.
