I've seen this before on my angelfish. It's probably a bacterial infection. I suggest you get some API Melafix and Pimafix. They are plant based broad spectrum antibiotic/antifungals which are good to use on delicate fish and they're harmless to inverts and plants. You can use both at the same time and they can be used in your main tank without separating the affected fish. First you have to remove any carbon or other absorbents from your filter. If you use a protein skimmer it must be turned off. I use them on my dwarf puffers which are tiny, delicate and scaleless. You add it to the water once a day for seven days.

If Melafix/Pimafix don't work you may need to switch to a pharmaceutical antibiotic.
