Hurricane: Off Topic

Well, here we go again. Another Storm is coming and it might be hurricane when it touches land here.

Power will fail and it may take from days to months to come back, if Hurricane Maria is a good example.

I have plenty provisions and water to drink. Did a 1/2 water change to all tanks and have battery powered air pumps for all tanks. Last hurricane I lost half my fishes. This will not be the same.

It looks like P R dodged a bullet. The storm seems to have unexpectedly turned north and will only brush P R. The Virgin Islands are going the get slammed and then the current predicted track looks like it will hit central Florida as a category 3 hurricane.

We have been watching Dorian closely too. The memories of Irma in Sept 2017 are all so fresh.

Hi to everyone!

Yes!! we dodged the bullet. First it was going to pass south west from us on the sea, then it was going to make landfall but at the end it diverted east not touching a speck of land. I lost power anyway but by another efferent unrelated reason.

We were all worried, back in 2017 after Irma and then Maria it was hell. That's the price of living in the tropics, is not all the time we are hit by them. Every year we get some scares like this one, but when they hit, they hit hard.

People in Florida, PLEASE get ready this looks like is gong to be a big one by the time it get there.
