A friend of mine got this as an L128 in a batch of 2" juvies years ago. He thought it was a female 128, and gave it to 7s to pair with our Male. It is definitely not. I thought maybe "black phantom" but the mouth is not at all right. It has a droopy bristly front and 1 whisker on each side.

I think it's . Honestly, from your photos, the body looks too long and slender for L240 and reminds me more of . But from what I see of the mouth, I'm
going with L240.

The body is sort of long and slender with a snout so long it looks distorted. Checking that L number now.

Can you get good pictures of the whole fish from side and maybe some clear pics of teeth?

That mouth is dead on. Could be any of "cf. galaxius" but that's the mouth, for sure. Also doesn't look female. Some

Easier said than done. Will try to catch it again and also see if I can find a 2.5 gallon that doesn't have a painted bottom. Definitely has spots on the underside.
