Was the publication in which Bleeker revised Hamilton's 1822 species names Bleeker, P.  1854  Nalezingen op de ichthyologische fauna van Bengalen en Hindostan?
And what does "Nalezingen" mean?

Hi Dinyar,
"Nalezing" means in a word to word translation "second harvest" in the sence of "revision".
"Nalezingen" is plural.
Best Wishes

This was actually Bleeker's work on Indian catfishes after he had received a small collection. The work tries to address the identities of the Hamilton names (probably in the erroneous belief that they may have been incorrectly formed). It's not actually a true revision in the sense that we understand it today.
