L240 feeding?

I just acquired a small vampire pleco and realized how slim it is after adding it to my tank. This is the first loricariid I've owned that likes a meatier diet (tankmates are an L037, L239 and some whiptails). I've tried sinking carnivore pellets as well as Vibra bites (this is what the lfs was feeding) but haven't seen the pleco eat in my tank yet.

Would I have any luck target feeding with frozen bloodworms? Or is there something else you guys use that might be more appealing to the little guy?

Hi Bristlenose94,

The frozen bloodworms might work, but I would worry they disintegrate too quickly in the tank if not eaten soon after being added. What about shrimp, clams or mussels? (raw or boiled, chopped into small pieces)

Cheers, Eric
