Feeding New Pleco

I have a baby Pleco that my dad bought me. Yesterday, I placed half of an algae wafer, but he hasn't touched it much, I have seen him move the wafer fragments and I have seen him go to the wafer fragments and rest on one. I don't think nothing is wrong.
Could my baby Pleco be a finicky eater or just not hungry?
Help please.
Thanks.

I'm not a huge fan of algae wafers, I think more omnivorous plecos do well on flake food in pellet form. Suggest you look at these. In any event, a new fish will take a few days to get used to any food and so if it's not being eaten in half a day, you need to remove it.
Why not post a picture of your whole aquarium?

This is just one part of the aquarium.

Imgur doesn't play nice with other sites - you'll have to use something open or upload the pic as an attachment.

As Jools mentioned, if the food is uneaten after a while I'd recommend removing it, especially algae wafers as they tend to break down quite quickly.
Maybe try some vegetables, zucchini, or sweet potato maybe. These you can leave in overnight when the fish will be more comfortable feeding.
If you can find it, I recommend the repashy gel foods, something like soilent green, igapo explorer, bottom scratcher, or super green should be OK for monster.
It may take a few days for it to recognise a food its not familiar with so keep trying and just make sure you remove any uneaten food. I would suggest putting it in during the evening and remove any uneaten food first thing in the morning.
Good luck, let us know how it goes.
