Are these both Ancistrus cf cirrhosus?

Hello everyone!

I got a male
Ancistrus sp(4)
and the store I work at just got (what I beleive to be) a regular female
Ancistrus cf_cirrhosus
.

I was wondering if its been accepted that this is the same species? I wouldn’t want to breed them if they are different species.

I can stop keeping catfish whenever I want. I just don't think I'll ever want to do that...

Thanks Shane! I ended up taking a pass on the female in the end but its good to know for future reference!
I can stop keeping catfish whenever I want. I just don't think I'll ever want to do that...
