Post by Shane »

I don't have any of those fancy smancy water testing devices, but am concerned I might have hard water because my filter is growing stalagmites.

Are you certain it is calk and not rust? I've had similar thing on TL fittings which later fully crumbled away. Rather shocking, no pun intended as I literally got an electic shock from it.
