Not totally a catfish question, but close!

Okay, in my 10 gallon tank I had a neon who I think got neon tetra disease. His color got all blotchy and he didn't eat and got really thin. I took him out of the tank today and am about to do a water change. My ammonia is at 0, nitrate at 10, and nitrite at 0. There have been no signs of stress in any of the other fish and everyone looks happy.

Should I do some 20% water changes over the next couple of days to make sure everything else stays okay? I feel really bad for the little guy, but I don't want any of my other fish (especially my catfish! ) to get sick. What should I do?

is the ten gallon an established tank or is it new
if it is established then i would go with 25 to 50 percent water changes for a week
try that and see

Thank you for the fast reply! The tank has been established for several months now.
