Rita identification Help needed

Need help identifying Rita species. This is an Indian imported WC catfish (region unknown). Definitely a Rita, but its eyes are too small to be the regular Rita Rita. I am wondering if this could be a Rita Macracanthus or some other species. It is currently 3 centimeters long and has a dark purple coloration. What species can it most possibly be?
Currently, these are all the pictures I have and after I go home I will take more. Hopefully, it will grow fast.

All Rita species have a forked caudal fin while the fish you have posted seems to have a truncate one. While the overall appearance suggests a Rita, the shape/nature of the caudal fin is quite strange. Damaged caudal fins can regrow in a strange manner at times, but this seems to be too extreme if that is indeed the case here. We will need @Silurus for this.

I believe this is with a damaged caudal fin.
