Julii Cory or not?

Post by scott1601 »

I have a group of these and was sold them as Corydoras Julii but i suspect they may be Trilieatus?

I need to be sure as i'm breeding them and want to be 100% on what i'm selling

Hi,

what makes you so (100%) sure ?
Don't get me wrong, I'm also quite convinced that they are C. trilineatus, as they look very typical and probability is also much higher.
C. julii are rather rare in the trade.
However, the most commonly spread characters for ID'ing are not safe.

Is the origin of the corys known, is it Peru ?

Cheers,
